And it’s not even the first one I have tried in recent memory, too. Before this WordPress site I’ve been working on for the past couple of days, I had a GitHub page set up with a main page (that just contained a bunch of links) and a separate “blog” repository, where I covered things like… well, my thoughts on Metroid Dread and replacing synthesiser batteries.
The age of blogging is probably not going to return, the appeal of fast thought sharing and microblogging via Twitter and the like are very convenient, but… I don’t know, I want to talk about stuff, man.
It’s probably not going to be anything updated super frequently – I don’t think any good blog would be, unless it’s got a lot of editors, but then it’s not really a blog? Dunno. Anyway, expect to hear me rave about a few synthesisers, their relevancy, how to tinker with them and why, or tricks I’ve managed to come up with while experimenting with trackers and whatnot. Or even your oddball thoughts about a game, why not.
The only thing I’m unsure about, at this point, is whether to bother porting over my old blog posts. They’re currently inaccessible because of how I had my GitHub pages set up for it, but they weren’t really super special. I mean, I had like a total of 3 or 4 blog posts on it, and it was a pain to update. I’m hoping this will be easier and more popular, I guess.
Well, I’ll leave you to it. Let me know in the comments what you think, I suppose. See ya.
